The game of GOLF CROQUET is easy to learn, socially interactive and great fun to play as an occasional corporate outing by organised social societies and workplace based groups.

The Shrewsbury Croquet Club, in association with Leisure Services department of Shropshire Council have arranged for two (small scale) croquet lawns at Monkmoor to be made available to hire for just such purposes on Mon, Weds, Thurs & Friday evenings between April and September.

All necessary equipment provided plus access to storage shed for shelter if wet. Cost £30 per group, plus £5 if 15 minute introduction to game is required. Parties of up to 12 may be accommodated.  We require only that individual guests wear only flat soled shoes whilst on the lawns. If you are first time visitors, we can arrange for members of Croquet Club to personally guide your party through a game of Golf Croquet, allow you to sample some of the techniques of Association Croquet, give a brief demonstration of how the game is played, and tell you more about the club.

This service is provided for just £40, with up to 20 catered for.  Furthermore, For groups representing a cross section of different branches of larger social societies (E.g. W.I. Rotary) visiting for first time, this service may be offered for FREE!
